The 2008 144’5″ Heesen Yachts 4400 Aluminium Motor Yacht G3, located in Vado Ligure, Liguria, Italy, is one of only seven built in the Heesen 4400 series. She stands out as a meticulously refitted yacht, with major updates including a 2017 charter-focused refit, a full repaint and interior refresh in 2021–2022, and extensive mechanical and cosmetic works in 2024.
Built in all-aluminium with a semi-displacement hull, G3 combines speed and range. Twin MTU diesel engines generate 7,200 hp, giving a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. She is fitted with zero-speed CMC fin stabilizers for smooth and comfortable sailing.
Styled by Omega Architects, the interiors are open, modern, and versatile. The main salon is bright with expansive windows, and the dining area was relocated aft in 2017 to open directly onto the main deck. The galley is fully equipped with Miele and Hoshizaki appliances and includes a dumbwaiter. The skylounge opens onto the bridge deck aft, offering a flexible space for entertaining.
G3 accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck with en-suite bathroom and private study, which can be converted into a children’s cabin or massage room. The lower deck has two doubles and two convertible twin cabins, each with en-suite facilities. Nine crew members ensure a seamless onboard experience.
Outdoor spaces include a sundeck with Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads and a full outdoor cinema system. The bridge deck aft is arranged for shaded alfresco dining, and the beach club added in 2017 features a gym, wet bar, lounge area, and a fold-out swim platform rebuilt in 2024. The foredeck provides storage for tenders and jet skis, including a Williams Sportjet 375, four Seadoo Spark Jet Skis, and a 10-meter Intrepid chase boat. Additional toys include eFoils, a Radinn jet surfboard, Seabobs, dive gear, an inflatable sailing catamaran, and kitesurfing equipment.
During the winter of 2024–2025, G3 underwent extensive maintenance including a full QL3 engine service, installation of new turbochargers, rebuild of the swim platform, new teak on foredeck and sundeck, superstructure repaint, full air conditioning service, and replacement of all ceiling panels in the main salon and guest cabins. Steering rams, thrusters, stabilizers, and propellers were all serviced.
